The Journal of Research and Development (JRD) welcomes original, high-quality manuscripts that align with the journal’s scope and contribute meaningfully to academic, industrial, or societal development. To ensure a smooth and efficient submission and review process, authors are required to follow the guidelines outlined below.
1. Article Types Accepted
We accept the following manuscript types:
- Original Research Articles
- Review Articles
- Short Communications
- Case Studies
- Technical Reports
- Perspective or Commentary Papers
- Innovative Methods and Tools
2. General Formatting
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
- File Format: Submit your manuscript in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
- Page Layout: Use A4 size, 1-inch margins, 12-point Times New Roman font, and double line spacing.
3. Manuscript Structure
A standard research article should be organized as follows:
Title Page
- Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
- Author names and affiliations
- Corresponding author’s name, email address, and ORCID (if available)
Abstract
- Limit: 200–250 words
- Should briefly summarize the background, methods, results, and conclusions
Keywords
- 4 to 6 relevant keywords (not used in the title)
Main Text
- Introduction
Background, problem statement, objectives
- Materials and Methods
Detailed methodology for reproducibility
- Results
Clear, objective presentation with tables/figures
- Discussion
Interpretation, implications, and comparison with previous work
- Conclusion
Brief summary with future perspectives
Acknowledgments (optional)
- Recognize contributors, funding, or institutional support
Conflict of Interest Statement
- Declare any financial or personal conflicts of interest
References
- Follow APA 7th edition or Vancouver style (based on subject preference)
- Ensure all references are cited in-text and vice versa
4. Figures and Tables
- Submit figures in high resolution (minimum 300 dpi)
- Each figure and table should have a descriptive caption
- Embed figures/tables within the text and also provide them as separate files upon acceptance
5. Ethical Considerations
- For studies involving humans or animals, provide ethics committee approval
- Adhere to guidelines for authorship, plagiarism, and data integrity

- Upon acceptance, authors must sign a copyright agreement

- Accepted manuscripts will be copyedited, typeset, and sent to authors for proof review before publication
- Authors are responsible for ensuring accuracy at the proof stage
