As an open-access journal, the Journal of Research and Development (JRD) is committed to providing unrestricted and global access to scholarly content. To support the costs associated with high-quality publishing, peer review, editing, production, and digital archiving, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applied upon acceptance of manuscripts.

JRD does not charge any submission fees. Charges apply only after the article has been peer-reviewed and accepted for publication.

The Standard article processing charges are 1229 Euros and these APCs are exclusive of any applicable taxes.

✦ What the APC Covers

The Article Processing Charge covers:

  • Double-blind peer review management
  • Editorial review and decision-making
  • Copyediting, typesetting, and proofreading
  • DOI assignment and indexing support
  • Long-term digital preservation and hosting
  • Full open access publication under a Creative Commons license

✦ Payment Process

  • APC invoices are issued only after the article has been accepted.
  • Payment must be completed before the article proceeds to publication.
  • Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card, bank transfer, and PayPal.

All transaction details will be securely processed and confirmed via email.

✦ Funding and Reimbursement

Authors are encouraged to check with their:

  • Universities and institutions for open-access publication funding
  • Research grants or funding agencies that support APCs
  • National or regional open-access initiatives

JRD will provide an official invoice and acknowledgment for reimbursement purposes.

JRD maintains full transparency in its publication model. There are:

  • No submission or resubmission fees
  • No page or color charges
  • No costs for supplementary materials
