To ensure a smooth submission and publication process, authors are advised to carefully follow the guidelines below.
1. Manuscript Categories
- Original Research Articles: Comprehensive studies with significant experimental or theoretical findings.
- Review Articles: Critical overviews of recent developments in specific areas of chemistry.
- Short Communications: Concise reports of novel findings or preliminary results.
- Case Studies / Technical Notes: Practical applications, methods, or case-specific research.
2. General Submission Guidelines
- Manuscripts should be prepared in English.
- Submissions must be original, unpublished work and not under consideration elsewhere.
- All authors should have contributed significantly to the work and must approve the final version.
- Plagiarism or unethical publication practices will not be tolerated.
3. Manuscript Preparation
Format:
- Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format.
- Use Times New Roman, 12-point font, double-spaced.
- Number all pages and lines consecutively.
Structure:
- Title Page
- Title (concise and informative)
- Author(s) full names, affiliations, and ORCID IDs (if available)
- Corresponding author’s contact details (email, phone, address)
- Abstract (150–250 words)
- A brief summary of the study’s objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Include 5–6 keywords.
- Main Text
- Introduction: Background, rationale, and objectives.
- Materials and Methods: Detailed description of experimental/theoretical procedures.
- Results and Discussion: Presentation and interpretation of findings.
- Conclusion: Key outcomes and future directions.
- Acknowledgments (if applicable)
- References
- Follow the APA or ACS citation style consistently.

- Figures and Tables
- Figures should be in JPEG/TIFF/PNG, minimum 300 dpi.
- Tables must be editable and placed within the manuscript, not as images.
4. Ethical Considerations
- Authors must declare any conflicts of interest.
- Research involving humans or animals must include a statement of ethical approval.
- Data supporting results should be made available upon request.
5. Submission Process
- Manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission system [link will be provided].
- A confirmation email will be sent upon successful submission.
6. Peer Review
- JOIC follows a double-blind peer review process.
- Each manuscript will be reviewed by at least two independent experts.
- Decisions are categorized as: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.
7. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
- JOIC is an open access journal. Authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) after acceptance.

8. Copyright and Licensing
- Upon acceptance, authors retain copyright and grant JOIC the right to publish the work under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), ensuring free and unrestricted access.
