  • Decision Making
    • Make editorial decisions (accept, revise, reject) based on the scientific merit, originality, and clarity of submissions.
    • Ensure decisions are free from personal, financial, or professional conflicts of interest.

2. Ethical Standards

  • Uphold the principles of research integrity, originality, and transparency.
  • Identify and act on instances of plagiarism, duplicate submissions, or unethical practices.
  • Safeguard the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.
  • Ensure compliance with international guidelines for studies involving humans or animals.

3. Reviewer Coordination

  • Invite reviewers who have appropriate expertise and no conflicts of interest.
  • Monitor the timeliness and quality of reviewer reports.
  • Provide constructive feedback to reviewers when necessary to maintain review standards.

4. Editorial Communication

  • Maintain professional, respectful, and transparent communication with authors, reviewers, and the editorial office.
  • Clearly explain editorial decisions, especially in cases of rejection or major revision.
  • Encourage authors to address reviewer comments comprehensively.

5. Publication Quality Assurance

  • Ensure manuscripts are scientifically sound, well-written, and relevant to the journal’s scope.
  • Verify that references, figures, and supplementary materials meet journal standards.
  • Work with the production team to ensure accuracy in the final published version.

6. Conflict of Interest

  • Editors must declare any conflicts of interest related to a manuscript under consideration.
  • If a conflict exists, the manuscript should be reassigned to another editor without delay.

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about emerging trends in nanoscience and scholarly publishing.
