To ensure a smooth submission and publication process, authors are requested to follow the detailed guidelines below.
1. General Information
- JMHP publishes original, peer-reviewed, open-access articles.
- Manuscripts must be unpublished and not under consideration elsewhere.
- Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
- All manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission portal provided on our website.
2. Article Types Accepted
JMHP considers a wide range of contributions, including but not limited to:
- Original Research Articles – Full-length studies reporting novel findings.
- Review Articles / Systematic Reviews / Meta-Analyses – Critical evaluations of existing literature.
- Case Reports & Case Series – Unique clinical observations with educational value.
- Short Communications – Brief but significant findings.
- Editorials & Commentaries – Perspectives on current topics, controversies, or advances.
- Letters to the Editor – Constructive comments or discussion on published articles.
3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Language and Style
- All manuscripts must be submitted in English.
- Use clear, concise, and scientific language.
- Avoid jargon and ensure accessibility to both clinical and research audiences.
Format and Structure
Manuscripts should be prepared in Word format (.doc or .docx) using the following structure:
- Title Page
- Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
- Full names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs of all authors
- Corresponding author’s contact information (email, phone, address)
- Acknowledgment of funding sources (if applicable)
- Abstract
- Maximum 250 words
- Structured format: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
- 3–6 keywords (using MeSH terms where possible)
- Main Text
- Original Research Articles should follow:
- Introduction
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Discussion
- Conclusion
- Reviews, case reports, and other formats should follow discipline-appropriate structure.
- References
- Use Vancouver style (numbered citations in the text, listed in order of appearance).
- Ensure all references are accurate and up to date.
- Tables and Figures
- Submit tables in editable Word format.
- Figures must be high-resolution (minimum 300 dpi) in JPEG, PNG, or TIFF format.
- Each table/figure must include a clear title and legend.
4. Ethical Considerations
- All research involving human participants must include evidence of ethical approval from an institutional review board (IRB) or equivalent.
- For studies involving animals, authors must confirm compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Authors must include a statement of informed consent where applicable.
- Plagiarism, data fabrication, and redundant publication are strictly prohibited.
5. Authorship and Contributions
- Authorship should be based on substantial contributions (conception, design, execution, analysis, or manuscript drafting).
- All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript.
- Contributors who do not meet authorship criteria should be acknowledged separately.
6. Conflicts of Interest and Funding Disclosure
- Authors are required to declare any conflicts of interest (financial, academic, or personal).
- Funding sources must be acknowledged in the manuscript.
7. Peer Review Process
- JMHP follows a double-blind peer review model.
- Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, methodology, clarity, and contribution to the field.
- Authors will receive constructive feedback and may be required to revise their manuscripts before acceptance.
8. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
- As an open-access journal, JMHP applies an Article Processing Charge to accepted manuscripts.

9. Copyright and Licensing
- Authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY).
- This allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
