Currently, he is the tenure-track faculty member of the Center for Energy and Environmental Solutions (CEES), South Carolina State University (USA). He has genuinely contributed to the catalysis and bio-active materials fields, having published over 69 high-ranking peer-reviewed articles and garnered more than 4000 citations. His h-index is 35, and my i10-index is 58 (Google Scholar). He has maintained an active research agenda with regular publications in high-impact factor (IF) journals in the fields of chemistry, energy, and materials science: Molecular Cancer [IF: 33.9], Bioactive Materials [IF: 20.3], Advanced Materials [IF: 26.8], Applied Catalysis B [IF: 21.1], Coordination Chemistry Reviews [IF: 23.5], Food Chemistry [IF: 9.8] and Journal of Materials Chemistry A [IF:6.8]. During his Ph.D. study, he was awarded Outstanding Research Award for Excellence of Journal Publication, President’s Award for Outstanding Research, and Top-ranked Graduate Student in College of Engineering.
