The Global Journal of Engineering and Technology (GJET) welcomes original, high-quality contributions from researchers, academicians, and industry professionals across all areas of engineering and technology. To ensure a smooth submission and review process, authors are requested to carefully follow the guidelines provided below.
1. Manuscript Categories
GJET accepts the following types of submissions:
- Original Research Articles – Detailed reports of novel research with significant findings.
- Review Articles – Comprehensive summaries of existing research on a focused topic.
- Short Communications – Brief reports of important preliminary findings.
- Case Studies / Technical Notes – Application-oriented studies, methods, or innovations.
- Editorials and Perspectives – Opinion pieces and viewpoints on emerging trends in engineering and technology.
2. General Formatting Guidelines
- Language: Manuscripts must be written in clear, concise English.
- Length: Research articles should generally not exceed 7,000 words (excluding references). Short communications should be limited to 2,500 words.
- Font & Layout: Use a standard, readable font (e.g., Times New Roman, 12 pt), double-spaced, with margins of at least 2.5 cm.
- File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. Figures should be in high-resolution JPEG, PNG, or TIFF.
3. Manuscript Structure
Authors should organize their manuscripts in the following order:
- Title Page
- Title of the manuscript (concise and informative)
- Full names, affiliations, and contact details of all authors
- Corresponding author’s email address
- Abstract
- A structured abstract of 200 – 300 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Include 4 – 6 keywords for indexing purposes.
- Main Text
- Introduction – Background, rationale, and objectives of the study.
- Materials and Methods – Detailed description of methods and experimental design.
- Results – Clear presentation of findings with figures and tables as necessary.
- Discussion – Interpretation of results, comparison with prior work, and implications.
- Conclusion – Brief summary of major findings and potential applications.
- Acknowledgements (if applicable)
- References
- Follow the APA 7th edition style (or journal’s preferred reference style if specified).
- Ensure all references cited in the text are included in the list.
4. Figures and Tables
- Number figures and tables consecutively.
- Provide descriptive captions below figures and above tables.
- Ensure that images are of sufficient resolution for high-quality reproduction.
5. Ethical Considerations
- Submissions must represent original work that has not been published elsewhere.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
- Studies involving human participants or animals must follow relevant ethical guidelines and include approval details from institutional review boards (if applicable).
- Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
6. Submission Process
- Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the GJET Online Submission System (link will be provided on the journal website).
- After submission, authors will receive a confirmation email with a tracking ID.
- All submissions undergo an initial editorial screening, followed by double-blind peer review.
7. Article Processing Charges (APC)
- GJET operates under an open access model. Details regarding APCs, waivers, and payment methods can be found on the Article Processing Charges page.
8. Review and Publication
- All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process.
- Authors may be asked to revise their manuscripts based on reviewer feedback.
- Accepted articles will be published online first and then included in the next available issue.
9. Copyright and Licensing
- Authors retain copyright of their work.
- Articles will be published under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY), allowing free distribution and reproduction with proper citation.
