The SCICONX Journal of Vaccine and Immunology (JVI) welcomes high‑quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of vaccine science and immunological research. Manuscripts submitted to this journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Scope Compatibility

Authors should ensure that their manuscript aligns with the journal’s aims and scope, focusing on immunology, vaccinology, immune‑based therapies, or related interdisciplinary research. Submissions outside the journal’s scope may be returned without peer review.

Article Types Accepted

The journal considers the following manuscript categories:

Manuscript Preparation

General Formatting

  • Manuscripts should be written in clear, professional English.
  • Use a standard word‑processing format (DOC or DOCX preferred).
  • Pages should be numbered consecutively.
  • Line numbering is recommended to facilitate peer review.

Manuscript Structure

Title Page

The title page should include:

  • Concise and informative manuscript title
  • Full names of all authors
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Corresponding author’s email address
  • ORCID iDs (where available)

Abstract

  • A structured or unstructured abstract of 200–300 words, depending on article type.
  • Abstracts should clearly summarize objectives, methods, key results, and conclusions.

Keywords

  • Provide 4–6 relevant keywords to enhance discoverability.

Main Text

Original Research Articles should generally include:

  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods

  • Discussion
  • Conclusions (optional but encouraged)

Other article types may follow alternative structures appropriate to their content.

Tables and Figures

  • Tables and figures should be cited in the text in numerical order.
  • Each table and figure must include a clear title and descriptive legend.
  • Images should be of high resolution and submitted as separate files when required.

References

  • References should be accurate, complete, and formatted consistently.
  • The journal recommends using a numbered citation style.
  • Authors are responsible for verifying the accuracy of all references.

Ethical Considerations

Human and Animal Research

  • Studies involving human participants must include a statement confirming approval by an appropriate ethics committee and informed consent from participants.
  • Animal studies must comply with institutional and international guidelines for animal welfare.

Clinical Trial Registration

  • Clinical trials should be registered in a publicly accessible trial registry prior to participant enrolment.

Conflict of Interest

  • All authors must disclose any financial or non‑financial conflicts of interest.

Authorship and Contributions

Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to study conception, design, data acquisition, analysis, or interpretation. All listed authors must approve the final manuscript and agree to its submission.

Plagiarism and Originality

The SCICONX Journal of Vaccine and Immunology maintains a strict policy against plagiarism, duplicate publication, and unethical research practices. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools
